Quality

Ever since its foundation, INTRAROM has wanted to ensure the clients that it delivers quality products and services. Thus, INTRAROM was among the first companies of Information Technology and Telecommunications to implement a Quality Management System.
 
Initially, INTRAROM designed and implemented a Quality System based on the requirements of the standard ISO 9002, system which was certified in 1997 by Bureau Veritas Quality International (BVQI), by the Military Body for Certification, Accreditation and Supervision (OMCAS) and in 1999 by the Romanian Society for Quality Assurance (SRAC). Since then, the Quality Management System has been constantly improving and extending, so that today it applies to all processes in all organizational units: project management and system integration, design, development, production, selling, installation, starting and service for information technology, electronic and telecommunications.
 
The Quality Management System within INTRAROM is now certified based on the standard ISO 9001:2000 by the Romanian Society for Quality Assurance (SRAC) and IQNet and also by the Commission for Certification, Accreditation and Supervision (CCAS) of the Ministry for Domestic Affairs. The embracing of the quality management principles reflects the company’s concern for achieving ‘excellence’ and the performances obtained in its relations with clients, employees and civil society are due to the policy and strategy promoted by the company’s management.
 
The Quality Management System undergoes periodical efficiency inspections by ways of internal audits and analyses conducted by the company’s management with a view to improving its condition.
In the constant attempt to improve its performance, we also looked into certain aspects concerning environmental protection which were put into practice in 2007, by integrating the requirements of the standards and environmental regulation in an Integrated Quality and Environmental Management System which is to be certified in 2008.




THE  QUALITY AND ENVIRONMENTALPOLICY

Our main objective is to ensure the integration of equipment and software for the IT projects, the development of software for third parties, the production and after-delivery service of electronic and telecommunications equipment, the installation and technical support for telecommunications equipment.
We fully commit ourselves to delivering products and services which satisfy ever more the demands and the expectations of all interested parties (partners in the country and abroad, community, providers and, last but not least, employees), abiding by the legal requirements and other applicable requirements which we subscribed to. By integrating the environmental component, our company intends to control environmental aspects and to minimize the effects on the environment, contributing to the reduction of pollution and to the promotion of the sustainable development principles. With this in mind, we decided that INTRAROM should design, implement and keep an Integrated Quality and Environmental Management System in compliance with the requirements of the standards SR EN ISO 9001:2008 and SR EN ISO 14001:2005.
 
The quality and environmental policy that we applied focuses on the fulfillment of the following strategic objectives:
·         Client orientation in order to fulfill, anticipate and surpass their expectations
·         The design, implementation and maintenance of efficient processes for the development of the products and services meant for third parties, and also the identification, evaluation, management and improvement of the aspects of our processes with affect the environment
·         The information and encouragement of employees to understand and respect the clients’ requirements and the applicable legal and regulatory requirements and to achieve our objectives with regard to the environment
·         Developing mutually rewarding relations with our providers and subcontractors, encouraging them to adopt the principles of environmental protection and to develop programs to support these principles
·         The appropriate management of the waste resulting from our activities and their processing in conformity with the regulations of the law in force
·         The constant improvement of the Integrated Quality and Environmental Management System and of the global performance of INTRAROM, through a constant analysis of the implemented processes and of their outcomes, in order to take measures against the reasons for nonconformities or which may result in the failure to achieve our goals
 
 
As General Director, I undertake to ensure the availability of all necessary resources to the development, implementation, maintenance and constant improvement of the Integrated Quality and Environmental Management System, by drafting this statement, by communicating it to the entire personnel and by making it available to the public through Internet, on the site www.intrarom.ro. Moreover, I undertake to reviewed, whenever necessary, including in management reviews, the suitability of this policy with the company’s strategy, with the requirements of the competitive economic environment, with the needs and the expectations of all interested parties and with the applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
